I went from a D90 to the D7200. I love the improvement in image quality, the higher usable ISO. it's expensive enough; I didn't see the need to spend more. Happy with decision....

I took my gear into work and one of my semi professional coworkers showed me the D90 has to be in Manual Mode and not Commander Mode and the flashes have to be in Manual Mode not Remote Mode. We tested it and seems to work...

The user manual has the answer -- "This lens does not support D2- or D1-series, D200, D100, D90, D80, D70-series, D60, D50, D40-series, or D3000 digital SLR cameras or film SLR cameras."...
