The D90 was a fine camera in its day but you are right the D500 is night and day better....

body (both your D90 and the D7200) will have the Equivalent Field of View of a 52.5mm lens on an FX or Film body. Your 50mm f/1.8D on your D90... are using your 50mm on a D90 which is a DX body and the D7200 is a DX body...

Hi Carl, I think you meant to say EN-EL3e instead of EN-EL 13. The D50 uses an EN-EL3, EN-EL3a, or EN-EL3e battery. The D90 uses an EN-EL3e....

I have the Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 which I use to use with my DX cameras and then it didn't get much used except with my D90 IR camera occasionally until I recently purchase the D500. I consider it a reasonably priced fine...
