I would second Marty's comments. I think the D90 and D200 were some... following. I still have a D200 that gets occasional use and both a D90 and D200... in almost every way. It really was a step change. That's not to say the D90...

interesting....i guess i just got lucky in the past...d40 d70 d5000 d200 d90....all worked fine with third party batteries and the d5000 and d90 both had zeikos grips and were fine....the grips have never come off my 200...

Thank you all for the great advice. I haven't fully decided which way to go, but I am leaning towards a new body. It is good to know that a D90 with 90k pictures on it still has years worth of life. As it has been mentioned...

hmmmmm...I haven't played with my tamron 17-50mm yet. It's the oldest version, no motor, no VC. they say it's the sharpest of all versions. But we'll see as I jumped from a d90 (and d200) to a d7200...

I sat on a log in our holding pen to see if Spirit would approach me. Well him and Mocha were very curious of the camera. This was taken from the log with them standing over me. Comments and Critiques please. D90...50mm...
