Hello Brent: Thank you for the great advise. I will clean the contacts as recommended and see if there is improvement. The lens contacts must be the problem as my other lenses have no issue with the D90 body ie. contacts...

Nikon, an N2020. They sat in a closet for many years until I bought a D90... lenses would work just fine on the D90. I later sold the 35-70, but still have the 70-210 (not the "D" version) and it works fine on both the D90...

I had the same problem with my D90, then I discovered that the 'picture control' was set on vivid. Changed it to neutral and all was good again...

Hi, i'm Peter, live in the Netherlands. After using analog Nikons and a D70 and D90 i recently upgraded to a D7100. I use an 18-105 and a 70-300 VRII. I use it mainly for aircraft photography....

Recently upgraded from D90 to D750 and enjoying the challenge in digesting the numerous additional features, buttons, and controls. I'm currently... )and believe they are sharper with deeper color and depth than taken with my D90...

I bought the Sigma to go with my D90 and it worked very well, now with the D7100 and twice the pixels, it shows it's limitations. It's not a bad lens, but the distortion is so bad sometimes you would think that trees grow...

The difference sensor, ADC, signal processing and processing power is pretty significant between the D300 and anything from the D90 and newer. You can compare PDR(Photographic Dynamic Range) in actual perceived DR as opposed...
