I would appreciate some Markins repair shop recommendations. Preferably in the USA for convenience, but I will consider foreign shops as well. I need the knob release clamp repaired on my Markins M10 ballhead...

They don't answer their phone or return emails. They show stock available for some plates but no ballheads. I have one of their ballheads (and like it) but I need some plates but I need some questions answered. ...

Hi Mike, Investing in a Markins Q3, Q10i, Q20i or RRS BH30, BH40, or BH55 for that matter will certainly be cheaper in the long run. That said, All of the ball heads listed above use Arca-Swiss Quick Release Clamps...

I think the point everyone is trying to make is this; I have a RRS BH-55 and it has a sweet spot. I have had a couple of Markins heads as well as some cheaper ones that didn't work like my RRS. I can mount my gripped D700...

Hi Steve, What model are the Manfrotto tripod legs? I have a Manfrotto 322RC2 head that is similar to the Bogen 3265 and I would not recommend using it with the Sigma 150-600mm. I use a Markins Q20 ball head...
