There is the Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 SP VC if you are looking for the same range and speed. The Nikon 24-120 f/4 VR has been mentioned. You lose the fast aperture but gain 50mm and VR. The Sigma 24-105 f/4 Art does the same...

OK so I already own the SP 24-70MM F/2.8 XR Di VC USD, but unfortunately I dropped it and I am having a hard time trying to find somewhere to get... it with the SP 17-50MM F/2.8 XR Di II VC. Aside form the main difference...

I actually bought Tamron 24-70mm F2.8 VC and only use 24-120mm when going "light" on my third D800e without the battery grip. I have another D800e and D810 with battery grips and flash brackets permanently attached...

Hi Gerold Danke für die Info. Ich fahre das Glas schon einige Jahre (ohne VR) und bin sehr zufrieden. Nur ganz schwache Verzeichnungen an den Ränder zeichnet das Objektiv aus. Eine Blende mehr als offen ist für die Abbild ...
