I appreciate the suggestion of the Markin lever clamps, they are quite a bit out of my price range. But as soon as I win a lottery I'll see about getting some. The NAS is hitting me hard. Jerry Visit my Nikonians...

Marty, I do have an L bracket on my Z7. Thanks for the tip.I am not familiar with nodal slides. I have a Markins Q m20 L ball head. Sounds like I could make use of my other lenses on a Sidekick....

Hi Bob, Since you have a Markins ballhead, you may want to look into their BV head: http://www.markins.com/4.0/html_en/bv_head.php It’s only compatible with the newer heads, so make sure you check first. Like...

the Wimberly Sidekick with my Markins M20 for about 15 years... and the Markins M20. That lens weighs in at around 5kg without a camera...
