MacPhotoGuy, The information on the height needed is especially useful. I think I now know where in the room to put the printer. One more question about the R2880: Is it as wonderful as the reviews say?...

I'm not all that familiar with the R2880 but it sounds like you haven't switched to the matte black ink from the photo black? In the 2200 this is what activated the Media Type settings for matte and photo papers....
