To add a minor point the 35mm f1.4 AIS is larger in diameter and definitely heavier than the 35mm AFD or 35mm AIS. That said, it still takes... with the 35mm f1.4 depth of field and focusing ability because I often want minimal...

I wonder if the Sigma 35mm f1.4 is pulling significant sales from Nikon if they will respond with their own 35 at that price point? An update to the f2 D? Maybe an FX AFS 35mm f1.8 G? I'm typically down with Nikkors...

I'm looking for a FX 35mm prime lens. I've read mixed reviews and opinions regarding the 35mm f2D. Some swear that it is good in some ways compared to the 35mm f1.4G. I like this FL for general walk-around lens. I have...

I wouldn't choose the 35mm f/1.8 DX Nikkor, as your D610 is an FX camera. The AF-S 35mm f/1.8G (no "DX") is a newer lens and generally a better performer than the AF 35mm f/2D, although it is bigger and heavier - and more...

I think you might only consider it bad when compared to newer options like the 35mm G Nikkor, Sigma 35mm Art or Zeiss. Looking at images taken... are looking for a small, light, fast, FX 35mm lens, it is a very good choice....

Whatever you may have found by searching, Nikon makes no 50mm DX Nikkor lenses. Full-frame lenses can of course be used on DX cameras....
