I've just purchased a Nikon D610 and have taken my first test pictures. I own a D700 and have used that for some years with Lightroom 3.6 I just tried to import my photographs (in RAW) and only about 50% were successfully...

May or may not be related. I bought a couple of the latest and fastest CF cards for my D700 ( for download speed ). First time I used them with my ole camera shop cheapie card reader pics diaappeared. Go back to slow cards...

I have not sent my D4 in, but a D700 made a buzz, then stopped working. Being on the West Coast, I sent it to Nikon in California. For $250, they repaired the offending circuit board, cleaned and adjusted it. It came back...
