was my transition from the D200 to the D700, but the D800 is certainly a substantial improvement over even the D700 body, of which I have two. I would... to be capable of capturing finer detail across a broader dynamic range than my D700...

I already posses a d700 and a d800, both very sparingly used by me. One brand new d700 is available with 2years Nikon warrenty. I am extremely happy with both of my cameras, however D700 will not be available in future...
