I went for the D7100 and sold my D90, The improvement in ISO and noise... for greater effect. I found the overall improvements over the D90 to be marginal, I mean there was no great Wow from the D90. I would not go back and give up...

upgraded to a D7100. So, everything that was a part of my D90 system is for sale Nikon D90 - with 38,692 shutter count . Nikon AF-S DX VR Zoom... & cords Darrell Young's "Mastering the Nikon D90" Nikonians Press book...

Thank you for the reply. Yes, I also love the d90, used a d300 not long ago, and I don't know, boy, it's sure tempting to get one but the d90 does me well for right now...They are great little camera's....

that... it is not as fast as my D90 nor as fast as the latest prosumer DLSRs... and the software menus and supporting software all in same family as my D90... to take places where the D90 size camera is a bit much... the P7800 fills...

improvement image quality for D7200 (or D7100) >over D90, that would justify... is three generations newer than the D90. You would get better image... , upgrading the D90 to a D7200 would be an easy "yes...
