I've read in the FAQ a recommendation of 3-to-1 for load capacity to weight of gear to achieve the "sweet spot" functionality. While I have a Markins... ? Should I just shoot hand-held until the Markins arrives? Thanks for any...

Having a bogon tripod a markins ballhead I purchased a RRS 55 Ballhead and what a difference. Comments about the 55 seemed a little pumped up until you have one. Engineering quality and proformance remind me of what Rolls...
