or so: 1. Is the Markins Q3 (or Q3i) still the ballhead of choice for a monopod here on Nikonians? 2. I love the lever on the Markins Q20... with an RRS foot since I use RRS plates on all my other gear with the Markins...

that replaced a Markins head. I like the precision, contours and controls of the BH-40 over the Markins. The positive of the Markins is that is has a better... don't use this feature. The drawbacks of the Markins is the location...
