Thanks a lot Leigh for the information,i hope the D700 will perform as the D300 , but i doubt it.

Yeah, my D700 is louder than my D300 which, if I remember, was louder than my D200 and D70 were. I think. It's been a while.
The D700 sounds higher-pitched than the others, so I notice it more.... |

, I also have the D700, which is similar to the D3. The D700 is a fantastic camera. However, my camera of choice is my beloved D300 and my lens... and more serious work, the D700.

I have the D200 and recently bought the D300. Using them both over the past 6 months, I don't see much improvement of the D300 vs. the D200. In retrospect, I would have been much better off buying the D700.

I'm a working photographer and need a full frame digital. I'm considering the D700 or the D3. Is there a big difference in ISO to noise ratio... , Sr's and Weddings. I currently own a fuji s3 and a D300.

I am definitely thinking about a D700 as a primary and keeping my D300... guess my D300 kinda spoiled me but still I am sure the D700 will be excellent... SB800s but the reach and D vs. F modes on the SB900 does make it temping...... |
