These 3 trees are along the 17 Mile Drive at Pebble Beech CA. They llok like they have seen a lot of wind and although parts of their trunks are prone, they still are alive. Shot with D700 and 17-35 f/2.8 zoom at 35mm. f/9...

I have set my D700 to append my initials to the start of my file names and then number them consecutively, 0001 to 9999. That allowed me to separate my files from those of a colleague where I worked until 30 July...

Nikkor 24-70 is too expensive for me. Is there an alternative that is close to the IQ of the Nikkor, that will work well with my D700?...
