Hi. I'm a new D50 user and was wondering if my old Promatic FTD 5200 flash will work with the D50? Thanks....

TTL is Through The Lens metering, iTTL is a derivative which works on newer Nikon cameras (standard TTL flash doesn't work on the D50 etc)....

sort of It will work in A mode and manual -- no TTL, No iTTL. And check to trigger voltage to see if it is under 250 volts. ...
