JRP, Actually I do have 2 Markins ball heads (one of them a Q20i) and they're great. But I can't figure out how much of a presence Markins has... regarding Markins' presence in North America, please enlighten me. Gerry...

I would buy a Markins Q20i ballhead (www.markins.us/collections/ballheads/products/q20i-ballhead) That is what I've been using for at least 16 years by now on my tripods....
