We'll have to see if the D800 is the perfect camera for that can only... forever. For now, I have my latest perfect camera and will continue to push... potential. It's easy to loose track of but in the end the perfect camera...

The perfect camera hasn't yet arrived - for me it would be a small, full frame digital camera with between 16 and 24 megapixels. The D7000 comes close, but the lack of wide angle primes is frustrating. How about a 20mm AF-S...

Its not a perfect camera, but pretty darn close....The images I get are absolutely stunning....I love my D2X......

I got mine on the day they came out I was also on a year long waiting list. Very low serial # 30015xx and It could not be a more perfect camera. In my gallery all of the flowers 2012 were taken with the D800....

Is D700 the perfect camera? Having owned one for the past 2.5 years I would tend to agree. :-) At least it doesn't have the video function imposed upon it; which seems to be the norm these days for new cameras....

I am changing from Canon mostly due to the D200. It looks like the perfect camera and does not weigh a ton like the 1Ds. Just how good is the 17-55mm lens?...

new products aren't always the greatest...but d1 cam been around for a little while...i choose the d1!....of course there is no perfect camera...new cameras will come and go......
